Review samples and inspection criteria by item rather than accepting an entire mixed order from one example. AS568 defines dimensions and does not qualify every material for the same fluid, temperature or pressure. An assembly pressure rating requires the actual gland and compound data.

Custom rubber O-ring enquiries in NBR, HNBR, FKM or silicone are specified separately for each size and compound. Provide an order list with inside diameter, cross-section or standard size reference, target hardness and colour for every item. Keep the fluid and temperature requirements with the corresponding compound; matching colour does not establish that different rings are interchangeable.

For mixed-size hydraulic or equipment orders, identify the sealing location and fluid for each part number. Include normal and peak temperature, pressure and static or moving duty. NBR, HNBR, FKM and silicone are alternative families requiring grade-specific compatibility review; special gas-service requirements need separate qualification.
