FEPM and FFKM O-Ring Enquiries: Define the Grade and Chemical Exposure

Keep FEPM and FFKM under distinct compound identities. AS568 describes dimensions and does not qualify a material for chemical resistance, sour gas or rapid gas decompression. Any pressure capability must be reviewed with the complete gland design and selected compound.

Royal Way accepts custom O-ring enquiries naming NBR, HNBR, FKM, EPDM, FEPM or FFKM. Specify the exact compound and fluid exposure rather than treating a polymer list as one universal seal specification. FEPM and FFKM enquiries require grade, size and availability confirmation for the intended duty before quotation.

Application of the rubber o ring:

For oilfield or hydraulic service, provide the complete fluid or gas composition, additives, cleaning chemicals, temperature, pressure and exposure duration. Include decompression conditions for gas duty. Review the exact compound against these requirements; a FEPM or FFKM polymer designation alone does not establish suitability for every chemical or gas environment.
